József Násztor Biography
|
József Násztor is a professional papermaker and entrepreneur from Szeged, Hungary.
He studied under various Hungarian masters before developing his own company that manufactures handmade, deckle mold papers and related products by recycling paper. |
| Násztor company provides a wide variety of specialty products including: certificates, diplomas, art papers, menus, wine lists, wedding invitations, and paper bags for bottles and merchandise; along with more traditional writing papers and cards, stationery and business cards. |
 His use of watermarks, embossing, stamping and safety threads have expanded his array of services and he currently distributes throughout Europe, the USA, Turkey and Japan. |
Mr. Násztor has been a member of the Association of Folk Art of The South-Hungarian Craftsmen since 1991, and was inducted into the
Friends' Associaton
of the Hungarian Museum of Ethnography in
2008. In 2011, he had the honor of having his work utilized in a Nicholas Cage Hollywood film production titled 'Season of the Witch'.
